“Labs have been America’s top dog for nearly two decades due to their loyal and gentle nature,” said AKC Spokesperson Lisa Peterson. “But the German Shepherd Dog has gained ground recently, quite possibly due to the increased attention they receive for their security efforts at home and abroad.”

Boxer dogs can follow instructions like “sit” and “come” when the still quite young. When you give them these commands early on, you make it easier on yourself to discipline it and form an bond. There are common guidelines and fundamental rules that should be followed so your boxer pup will learn all you need it to learn much faster. You also want to avoid confusing the boxer. Remember, if you give a command, the puppy needs to know that the response should be immediate and not made later on.
Any training and quality time you give your boxer puppy it will remember. When you are training your puppy, you want to remain unswerving. Your boxer puppy will not always obey your commands (even though it should), yet you should not punish it if it does not. If you can, bribery in the forms of treats and rewards should be used when your pup does obey your command. When the boxer puppy follows your command, give it some praise too. Your goal is to move forward with the commands so do not use any negative techniques that make any sort of circumstances worse. As your boxer gets older, increase his obedience training.

What is a Daisy dog? The Daisy Dog is not a purebred dog. It is a cross between the Bichon Frise, a Poodle and a Shih-Tzu. The best way to determine the temperament of a mixed breed Daisy Dog is to look up all breeds in the cross and know you can get any combination of any of the characteristics found in either breed. Not all of these designer hybrid dogs being bred are 50% purebred to 50% purebred. It is very common for breeders to breed multi-generation crosses.
These dogs are cute and they are pretty small, definitely a lap dog. These are inside dogs and will not like it if you leave them tied up outside.

Two rules of housebreaking to remember are 1. Confinement so your dog cannot go to the bathroom in the wrong places and 2. Constant or regular access to the right place to go to the bathroom.
Confinement means that until your dog is housebroken, he is never allowed to walk freely around the house. Every hour of every day; unless you are sitting with your dog, playing with him, walking him, feeding him,or interacting with him. Because if he is loose and you take your eyes off him for just a few moments, he can go to the bathroom on your floor, and the bad habit is begun.
Access to the right place means you take your dog outside, or he lets himself outside through a doggy door. Or it means you provide him with newspapers or a litter box indoors. He must have somewhere to go on a regular basis.

The Alaskan Malamute is loyal and intelligent, sweet and affectionate. Great with children who are old enough to play with him safely. If their canine instincts are met, they mature into a dignified and mellow adult dog. They are super friendly and so not suitable for use as a guard dog. Malamutes are happiest living outdoors, but they also enjoy living indoors where their human family lives. Without firm leadership and daily mental and physical exercise, these dogs may become destructive nuisances, acting like puppies forever.
Malamutes love outdoor activities and even do well in obedience with firm encouragement. Although it can be difficult to train Malamutes for formal obedience, it is not particularly hard to train them to be well-mannered because they love to please. Males can be very dominant. This breed needs the humans around him to be firm, confident and consistent pack leaders. Some dogs may be difficult to housebreak. This breed is a thrifty feeder and needs less food than you might expect.
Malamutes are quiet compared to most dogs but they do like to howl and dig. This breed should be supervised around unfamiliar small animals, as they have a strong prey instinct. This does not mean they are not good with small animals. Both males and females can be combative with other dogs, especially with the same sex and breed and firm handling and training are necessary to curve this. Proper socialization with people and other dogs is imperative. Obedience training is highly recommended.
